Gepost door Pogo op 25-9-2025Het spel speelt zich af in een toekomstig Noorwegen waar we een poging ondernemen om landbouw en de logistiek errond opnieuw uit te vinden.
Je doel is om smaakvolle vruchten te kweken, slimme routes te plannen en transporten uit te voeren naar de lokale markten.
Ondertussen moet je jouw economie draaiende houden en speciale opdrachten vervullen die je op het einde van het spel extra punten kunnen opleveren.
Het spel maakt gebruik van een innovatief selectiemechanisme voor acties waarbij je samen acties kiest op het gemeenschappelijke actiebord. Doorheen het spel kom je zo meer en meer in elkaars vaarwater terecht en worden je keuzemogelijkheden beperkt. Soms zal je moeten overwegen om een actie op te offeren om toch maar die ene gewenste actie uit te kunnen voeren waarmee je mogelijk je tegenspelers verrast.
De prijzen van je geteelde vruchten zullen ook doorheen het spel blijven evolueren, dus verkopen op het juiste moment is ook onderdeel van een succesvolle strategie.
Tijdens het spel zal je ook moeten blijven investeren in onderzoek om je mogelijkheden verderop in het spel uit te breiden.
Je zal ook niet anders kunnen dan gebruik te maken van het netwerk dat je medespelers hebben uitgebouwd. Het is namelijk een gezamenlijk project, maar dit betekent niet dat er uiteindelijk maar ??n de overwinnaar kan zijn.
Het mag duidelijk zijn dat je verschillende deelgebieden in de gaten zal moeten houden en dit zal ook leiden tot een hoge mate van interactie.
Het spel is speelbaar als familiespel waarbij nog enkele zaken worden weggelaten om het spel toegankelijk te houden voor iedereen vanaf 10 jaar. Ervaren spelers kunnen echter alle onderdelen toevoegen voor een ultieme ervaring met Twinstar Valley.

7-10-2025 12:28Hi, Thanks for the interest in the game! Glad to read you are also interested in the US. At the moment there is no US publisher for Twinstar Valley (actually there was one, but this didn't go through due to the tariff situation) and we also don't have a distributor. for the US at this time. This situation can change during Essen, but if no US store/distributor buys copies directly from us in Essen we'll try to arrange to sell them to individuals in the US as we already got a lot of questions about this from the US (and some other countries). I only have to make 2 remarks: 1) Our shipper currently doesn't send regular packages to the US because it is unclear how the tariffs have to be paid. I hope this will be resolved after the Essen fair. 2) We also aren't in control of the tariffs so it is possible duties will have to be paid through us or upon arrival in the US. If we arrange the sale we'll definitely inform through our newsletter (you can subscribe at the bottom of this page: https://www.jumpingturtlegames.be/index.php?lang=en), our Facebook page or you can always contact us by mail (you can find the e-mail on the contact section of our website). Sorry this is a little messy, but we .don't want to arrange a pre-order with shipment at this stage as we don't know when the tariff situation is resolved.

7-10-2025 21:24Hi, Thanks for the quick reply. May I suggest potentially reaching out to Allplay for U.S. distribution. They have a fantastic lineup of games from all over the world. For some reason, reviewing games on their site, this game looks to be a perfect fit. They've made it possible for U.S. citizens such as myself to acquire great games that I normally wouldn't be able to because of the Tariff situation. I'll check again after Essen as this is on my "List" of games that I'm interested in 2025. Either way, best of luck to you at Essen, as this game looks like a fantastic game to play. Chris.

12-10-2025 17:20In the EU there shouldn't be very big problems. There are already some stores in the EU that pre-ordered the game and if it will be too difficult from your country to order anywhere, let uw know and we'll see how we can get a copy to you. For the US there is still uncertainty, but in the EU you don't have to worry.

13-10-2025 18:29EU stores can order the game so it will be available in several stores and webshops. You can always contact your regular store and ask them to order the game, but there will also be some international webshops that will sell the game. We should receive the copies during this week and I doubt we'll be able to get them out before Essen, so I expect they will ship to the stores after Essen and they should be available in the beginning of November. And if you still won't be able to find a copy, let us know in November by sending an e-mail and we'll look for a solution for your shipping destination.
